The Witchwood Guide
Battlecry: If you have a minion with Taunt, gain +1 Durability.
"King's Attacker" is a shield. Funny, huh?
When did this card lose its name?
A new discovery to my list
Now The Better War Axe
King's war axe
I can see it... King's Defender and Death's Bite or Blood Razor in Wild Warrior decks. I think im going to have more fun in Wild. Im going to miss you Fiery War Axe .
with the coming nerf to Fiery War Axe this card will shine
Better off using this instead of war axe.
People play wild too
yeah some people live in the wild too
It gains more durability the more taunts you have. i.e if you have 2 taunts, it gains 2 durability
WE ARE GOING TO BE RICH!
Wasnt this +1 durability per taunt? That would have been good (posibly OP, but warrior already has great weapons, so having this a taunt alternative would have been great. But +1 as the highest bonus is pritty weak compared to warriors other weapons
This is sometimes a 3/3 weapon for 3 mana.
If it works, you almost have a 3 mana Assassin's Blade. Take a moment to ponder that.
If Taunt warrior becomes a thing. Wouldn't this be better than Fiery War Axe?
No, because fiery war axe has the benefit of being able to take care of most early threats on turn two. With this you have to wait a turn later, which gives them more chance to build a board. Plus you need a taunt in play, which means you likely need even more time to use this at full power.
This will of course now replace fiery war axe in wild, unless we get an even better option.
golden version looks epic :O
1 card, 3 removals. with the new 1 mana and 2 mana taunts with bolster they will gain a lot of tempo, but they will burn cards.
So King's Defender sort of helps them reduce overall card loss.
I don't like this, the effect can't stack. I'd rather just use my Fiery War Axe and then move onto my Death's Bite for the mid-game. You don't really need more weapons.
