I liked this card very much, I would really love to see it getting into Standard (by making it a "Classic"-card) - it's a fun and very random card, similar to Thoughtsteal and I think that it is not an auto-include in every deck like an Azure Drake or Sylvanas Windrunner that always influenced the meta...
Anyone else want Burgle in Standard ? then vote up please ;)
TGT has really pushed the idea of control Rogue, with cards like Burgle and Shado-Pan Rider introduced.
The idea is definitely there, since Rogue is known for being able to control the field before conducting a big combo, but the execution may be a little bit off.
Arcane Intellect: Gets the highest-quality cards but is the easiest to play around. When your opponent plays this card, you can still expect to see the cards appropriate to the deck archetype you're seeing. Also actually draws cards from your deck, making it utterly useless if you're almost at fatigue.
Thoughtsteal: Can sometimes get useless cards like Deadly Poison or Shield Slam. More unpredictable than Arcane Intellect, but your opponent always knows the possible things you can get and is likely to play around some of the more threatening ones. Pulls cards out of thin air, but if you still have this when opponent has no cards in their deck, you will not steal anything.
Burgle: Can sometimes get useless cards like Totemic Might, Shield Slam, Dust Devil, or One-eyed Cheat. However, with this comes even more unpredictability. If you play it against a Mage, do they play around Pyroblast, Flamestrike, Archmage Antonidas, Blizzard, Rhonin, or Wee Spellstopper? If you play Thoughtsteal against Tempo Mage and drop a secret, obviously they'll play around Mirror Entity, but with this card they'll have no idea what to do. Furthermore, it's always usable even if both players are fatigued.
I am almost never disappointed with Burgle. It mostly gives you at least one useful card and most importantly I think broadens your hand to enable your combo pieces. Of course... it is random but this randomness never hurts you. I see it quite on the same level as Unstable Portal. Yesterday I crushed Ramp Druid with Cenarius and Savage Combatant

Burgle OTK! I even had shadowform level 2.
since i have read the card text, everytime when i draw and play this card, a slightly "yoink!" hisses over my mouth to myself.
I had to pick this due to poor choices in Arena.
One game I'm low on health/cards and burgle Lay on Hands. Next game I burgle Tirion and opponent instantly concedes. Balanced card is balanced haha.
The art on that card ... could it be worst than that?
Art is subjective, and I personally find this stylized theme to be a welcome change that mirrors the silliness that the word "burgle" carries with it.
+1 for your comment. It doesn't feel to be a rogue card.
If I were to steal a Siltfin Spiritwalker, would it be a Burglglglgle?

I got this card in gold! It would've been nicer if the little birdie flapped it's wings imo^^
Why does the class that literally has Combo as a keyword get a Draw Two card that doesn't allow them to put their combos together.
For the same reason Poisoned Blade is good, RNG adds skill to the game and Lock would would see more play.
Similar to Thoughtsteal and Arcane Intellect.

How is Deadly Poison useless???
Well, if you get one from a Thoughtsteal, its safe to assume you are playing as a Priest. Adding 2 attack to your weapon doesn't seem very relevant.
Ooh, my bad. Fixed it for Burgle. Deadly Poison of Thoughtsteal is useless, Deadly Poison off Burgle isn't.
This card saved my life AND gave me fatal by giving me Lord Jaraxxus in the previous turn.
Best. Rouge. Card. Period.

Best Rogue card ever.
