Sometimes it's as simple as putting on a fake mustache and pointing at someone else.

On a dungeon run, had the Passive ability to play 3 random secrets, and this was one of them - got Ixlid, and sure enough, his poison spore attacked and misdirected towards - HIM! Round was over in less than a minute
Whoops!;

While this card has never had much popularity, I find it highly useful in Yogg & Load: as you almost never play minions yourself, it means that the enemy minion will be misdirected either to hit their own face, or trade with another one of their own minions. Also, if the enemy minion goes face while your opponent has their weapons equipped, it will be dealt damage equal to the weapon's attack - how cool is that!
I played Deathwing someone played Misdirection and Freezing Trap. Deathwing returned to my hand before it could hit me in the face.

Hi I just have a question regarding this card. It says When a character attacks your hero, instead he attacks another random character. Why don't it say "When a minion attacks"? Cause when enemy hero attacks with a weapon it the secret don't trigger. Is not a hero a character? This wording should be changed imo.
All the best!
If the enemy hero is the one attacking, Misdirection will not trigger if there is no other legal target. If no minions are on the board, or if all minions are stealthed, Misdirection won't trigger. (Note that Misdirection can cause characters to hit stealthed minions, but it won't trigger at all if all minions on the board are stealthed.)
Im going to dust this, for people with better secrets use them, this is more gimmicky and unreliable
i really like the animation
I also noticed a bug (maybe?) : I was playing rogue with a 1/2 dagger equipped, I attack with a 3/1 minion, it gets redirected to me so he dies but the dagger stays 1/2.
Don't see how this would be a bug. You didn't attack with your weapon so why should it loose a charge?
But why did the minion die? Minions never die attacking heroes with or without weapons..?
While having a weapon equiped heroes constantly have an attack value during their whole turn. The minion got redirected to his face and since the hero had an attack value at that time the minion took the damage.
Heroes do not have attack value during their opponents turn because that would be a broken mechanic, also notice the "weapon closes" effect after ending your turn with a weapon equiped.
If there are no minions on the field, the secret will not activate even if the player is attacked.
